Last year has been remarkably tough – to say the least: the Coronavirus outbreak not only took a tragic toll in terms of human lives, but it also forced everyone to isolate and change their habits to prevent any further spread of the virus.
Though at the very beginning the danger was probably underestimated, most people have now fully understood how serious the situation is, and are taking an increasing number of precautions to prevent the virus from spreading further. Therefore, social distancing and smart working have become the norm in most workplaces.
Needless to say, the pandemic didn’t only affect our personal lives, mental health and serenity, but it imposed some major changes in our professional lives as well: in particular, one of the most remarkable effects Covid-19 has had on businesses is that visiting customers or suppliers to foster business relationship isn’t an option anymore. Moreover, a great number of trade shows and exhibitions have been postponed or cancelled; for example, Techtextile in Frankfurt has been rescheduled in 2022.
However, isolation doesn’t necessarily mean cutting off all contacts for good. Nowadays, technology offers an increasingly wide array of resources we can take advantage of to maintain positive business bonds and speak to a vast public at once. There’s online meetings, social media, webinars, blogs… basically, we can’t physically shake hands anymore, but we definitely can carry on with our business relationships!
Now and more than ever, we are fully aware of how important it is to communicate and provide any kind of information and support our business partners may need, not only during exhibitions, but constantly.
Hence, the decision to open a blog.
Our goal is to create a space where our customers (or whoever is interested) can find information about our products and their applications, our technology, the raw materials we use, what we do in terms of research and development and any news about our company and the market. We wish for this to become an open space for discussion and exchange of ideas, and we hope our visitors appreciate that.
Stay tuned to find out more about this project!
