Logistics is a fundamental part of our work in the textile industry. Providing the best services adds value to our company and allows us to face the needs of every customer and provide worthwhile customer service.
Earning the suppliers and customers’ loyalty is one of the main objectives of our textile company, along with the willingness to make high-quality cut resistant fabrics and fireproof and heat resistant yarns, suitable for technical applications.
That’s why we thrive to develop the personal skills and talents of every employee involved in the supply chain.
Today, we want to introduce you to Alice, one of our trusted employees, who is in charge of the logistics of TAY.
“My name is Alice and I’m 26. I majored in foreign languages nearly one year ago and I got hired at Tay a couple months after my graduation.
I’m in charge of logistics, which is not the main field I studied at university, so I’m still learning.
I take care of the shipments and the imports. Doing this job, you have to keep up with a great number of situations. This also required neatness and organization, as well as good multitasking skills.
It is not always easy, but I really love my job because I’m learning so much about the movement of goods, and also because I get to speak many different languages with our customers and suppliers. This is the most rewarding thing to me.
In the future, I want to keep learning about logistics and become more skilled and experienced. I’m also focusing on organizing my tasks better and I think that is going to help me in my personal life as well.”
