This is one of the most complicated methods where we mix different yarns. Composite yarns are engineered yarns formed by a combination of two or more components twisted, wrapped or spun together in order to offer the exactly performance of the customer request. The properties of the composite yarns is influenced by the type of fibre, spinning and twisting system , ratio of fibre, geometry and orientation of the reinforcement.
Compared with conventional staple fibre yarns, composite yarns made of staple fibres and filaments have higher tenacity and high value, because they have the properties of both filament yarns and staple fibre yarns. Composite yarns can be produced by many kinds of machines and processes, such as ring, friction, and air-jet spinning.
