Meet Alessandro
“My name is Alessandro and I’m 28 years old. I graduated in engineering two years ago and, after a few internships in various companies, I started working here.
My job consists in organizing the production and testing the materials. I love what I do because of the constant challenges I face every day, which force me to think and find a solution to every problem. This is demanding, but also really rewarding, because I have the responsibility that everything runs smoothly and there are no stops in the production flow. Testing the materials is also interesting because I get to see and understand the technical properties of different yarns. I can say my tasks vary regularly, I don’t do the same tasks over and over, but I’m constantly moving and doing different things. That taught me to multitask as well.
In the future, I see myself as an experienced engineer and I wish to improve my skills more and more. To do so, I need to work hard and gain more knowledge in the textile field – as I can do at Tay.”
